Friends, family, everyone…you’re invited to come out and enjoy some wings with the lovely Silhouettes of the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster Alumni and the Kappas. Over many years, the Silhouettes have assisted us in providing scholarships for our youth.
The Silhouettes are sponsoring another Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant fundraiser on May 18, 2018, 216 James L Hart Pkwy #1, Ypsilanti, MI 48197. The attached flyer must be shown [electronically or via hardcopy] to secure 20% of both dine-in and carryout sales. If the total sales of our group reach $2,000 for the day, BWW will return 25%; and at $3,000 in total sales, they will return 30%! The proceeds will help to support our contribution to the Kappa scholarship fund.
As in the past, we will have a reserved area from 5 PM until close. Attend between the hours of 2 to 6 PM for Happy Hour specials.
Show your support of the AAYI Kappa Chapter by attending this event and sharing the flyer to help the Silhouettes achieve our goal of making this event a huge success.
On Saturday, November 12, 2016, the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster Alumni Chapter partnered with the University of Michigan Cancer Center to provide a Men’s Fellowship Breakfast. The community really showed out with their participation and 30 Kappas from the Chapter were in attendance. This was the largest attended Men’s Fellowship Breakfast.
Special thanks goes to Senior Vice Polemarch Brother Michael Kinloch and the event chairman Brother David Wooten for their leadership and participation. The 30 Brothers and other men enjoyed a hot breakfast, music supplied by Brother Rod Kilgore, and a great presentation from our own Brother Dr. Scott Mial. A raffle was held with gifts that included an autographed football from coach Jim Harbaugh (U of M Football team) and four $25.00 Visa gift cards which was donated by the Chapter. Most importantly the topics covered hopefully, will lead to or continue to foster better health for the community and for us as Kappa men.
One’s health is extremely important and the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster Alumni chapter recognizes that health education is beneficial to everyone. Being aware of the best health practices will lead to longevity of life and prosperous health.
All men in the community are welcome to join us our Saturday, November 12, 2016 for a free men’s fellowship breakfast and health summit. The Klassy Evening with the Nupes was another big hit. The event was held on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI. In addition to a nice selection in the wine tasting, there was exceptional entertainment and music and dancing. During the event, a silent auction offering a wide selection of items ranging from artwork to vacation getaways resulted in funding being raised for our scholarships and community service projects. It definitely was a klassy event.
