The Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster Alumni Chapter continued its tradition of honoring brothers who have been true ambassadors and have made a significant contribution to the chapter and fraternity over an extended time period. On Saturday, October 22, 2011 the chapter hosted an event called “An Afternoon of Recognition” to honor six chapter brothers for their outstanding contributions. John W. Finn, Past Grand Polemarch Robert L. Gordon (posthumously), Robert K. Green (posthumously), John A. Mason, Jr., Frederick L. McDonald, Sr., and George C. Thompson, Jr. received lifetime achievement awards. This honor is being bestowed upon these brothers because their contributions to the chapter exemplify the fundamental principle of our fraternity-ACHIEVEMENT.
