On August 11, 2012, Brothers of the Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster Alumni chapter gathered for the annual leadership retreat. Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster Alumni Brothers at the Ann Arbor NPHC Greek Picnic on August 4, 2012. School supplies were collected from amongst all the NPHC organizations. The school supplies were donated to local Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti schools.

On July 28, 2012, the Detroit, Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti-Inkster, Pontiac, and Southfield Kappa Chapters held the Annual DAPS Golf Tournament at Cooper Ridge Golf Course in Davison, Michigan.
